Roof Inspection Service

For many people, the sound of a summer rain can lull them to sleep. But to others, the sound can keep them up at night, wondering if their roof is going to leak. Knowing what condition your roof is in can save you money down the road while offering peace of mind.

When Should You Get a Roof Inspection?

The mistake most homeowners make is to wait until they already have a leak or other issue to schedule a roof inspection. But by then it’s too late and damage is already occurring.

Roof inspections are meant to mitigate any real damage and protect your home. We recommend homeowners get their roof inspected after a severe storm. While you may not see signs of damage from your vantage point, we often notice damage once we’re up there.

If you happen to live in an area of the country that doesn’t experience much rain or hail storms, we still recommend you have an inspection done every 5 years to check for any loose or damaged shingles, flashing, seams or caulking.

Will My Insurance Cover Me if I Need a New Roof?

We get this question a lot and the answer is, “It depends on your coverage.” Typically, insurance plans will cover the cost of a new roof as a result of storm damage. Some insurance will also cover all or partial costs of old roofs.

When you get a professional roof inspection, you’ll have a better understanding of what you can expect from your claim. And if you are eligible for a new roof, we can help you file the correct paperwork and get it into your insurance agency for you.
